Hello everyone

Been a couple of weeks since I came on here to have a good old rant about the state of the Trance scene so I thought now would be as good a night as any! And anyway its not as if the Impact blog and podcast doesnt usually have enough amazing Trance mixes to keep you beat-tastically satisfied (now i am ranting)!

Ok so first thing, the Above and Beyond Trance around the World podcast. This weeks was episode number #333 and it was amazing! It was so good I actually felt like I had to come on here and actually write about it! Admittedly Im a big fan of TATW and I even take inspiration from Above & Beyond I think they’re awesome but for me, this week was super special. Click here to listen if you want to know what I mean.

So next thing I found this week and it kind of relates to the above, does anyone know if Juventa are releasing a new artist album? I only mention this as the above said podcast aired not 1 but 2 very good Juventa tracks;

Ah yes another thing I never actually posted about, Tiesto – Victoria Park 2010. My personal review. I didnt really enjoy Tiesto that much. There I said it! Ok so Tij the big man is a legend, I am obviously never going to dispute that. But he has become so commercial now, it was actually kind of sad to see. Me and my friend Skorpio even voted with our feet and left 30 mins early as the last 30 mins of the set were basically the same stuff I can go to my local tennie-bopper crap nightclub and listen to. Not good. Even the classics – Delerium – Silence and Suburban Train were very predictable. Sorry Tiesto but I think you may have had your heyday.

Oh talking of heyday I recently saw somewhere the DJ mag top 100 vote is now open again this year and is open until 23rd September. Apparently the mp3 store Track It Down are sponsoring. So anyway just to let you all know, heres my vote and please be reminded I tend to vote for producers as well as DJ talent, to me they both attribute to an artists repotoire;
